About: My Practice
Cleme Consalvo has overcome some incredibly challenging difficulties in her life. Her story of perseverance, triumph and unwavering Faith, is nothing short of inspiring.
Addicted parents left Cleme to grow up in a Christian girls' home. Albeit broken and alone, Cleme was able to find her way with the support of the ministerial staff and God. It was here that her Faith began to bloom and her drive to not become a statistic of her situation was instilled.
Following the girls' home, Cleme received work scholarships from Tennessee Temple University and Bob Jones University. She attended both schools.
Her education on track, Cleme married with hopes of having a family of her own. She gave it her all, but that too provided excruciating obstacles. Several unsuccessful pregnancies and diagnosed with fibromyalgia, carpal tunnel syndrome, and sciatic nerve pain, Cleme experienced daily discomfort. Doctors prescribed pain killers, but Cleme knew that she was “fearfully and wonderfully made”(Psalm 139:14-16), so she began a search for a more natural way to heal her aching body. While Cleme eventually gave birth to 5 beautiful and healthy daughters, her marriage had suffered along with her body. So Cleme was on her own again, this time the sole provider of her 5 girls.
Now a single mother, Cleme knew she could no longer put her health on the back burner. She discovered that massage therapy provided her with some pain relief. So she decided to go to massage school and gained entry on a scholarship. Cleme supported her children on her own, oftentimes, working multiple jobs, cleaning houses and delivering newspapers, all while going to school.
She graduated from the Reese Institute of Massage in Orlando in 1992, beginning her Florida career as a massage therapist. She spent countless hours studying anatomy and, through God’s guidance and direction, was able to begin healing her own body, using her Neurospatial Alignment techniques to release the injured tendons and ligaments that had held her body captive for so many years.
Today she is 100% pain free.
In 1995, Christopher Reeves became paralyzed after falling from his horse, and Cleme became fascinated with spinal cord injuries and their effects on the human body. She began applying her Neurospatial Alignment technique to a family member who had broken his neck and was a quadriplegic. After a few sessions, he was able to regain sensation in his limbs, raise his arms above his head to wash his hair and walk without a walker. Since then, Cleme has been able to work with many other spinal cord patients to restore the use of their bodies.
Cleme learned from reading the Bible that everything she has had to endure in her life, gave her the knowledge and understanding, with the wisdom, on how to apply it to help others. Her goal is to help others recover from their debilitating injuries.

HEALING MYSELF
Cleme’s weight increased to 200 pounds and she was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes in 1997. Refusing medication, Cleme changed her diet and was able to stabilize her blood sugar levels without medication.
